Associate Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Team Leader in daily operations and team management for the UK account.
- Monitor team performance, productivity, and quality metrics.
- Coach, mentor, and support team members, including junior accountants, to achieve targets.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, company policies, and operational guidelines.
- Assist in training new staff and conducting refresher sessions.
- Support the Team Leader in preparing reports and performance summaries.
- Work efficiently with accounting software (TaxCalc, IRIS, CCH, TaxFiler, Capium, DAPA, XERO TAX, etc.)
- Work efficiently with cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Capium, DEXT, AutoEntry, QuickFile, TaxFiler, FreeAgent etc.) and MS Office tools.
Required Skills:
- 2–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in KPO/BPO or outsourced finance.
- Proficient in bookkeeping and accounts production software’s.
- Strong Excel, attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Effective time management and ability to handle multiple deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident in supervising junior staff and resolving queries.
Preferred qualifications:
- B. Com / M. Com in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (strongly preferred).
- CA qualified candidates are eligible.
- ACCA Qualified / part-qualified is an added advantage.
- MBA in Finance or PGDM in Finance / Accounting is preferred.
- XERO Certification is added advantage.
